Today, I am thrilled to share the exciting news that Vistar Media will be acquired by T-Mobile. This marks the culmination of a long and rewarding journey for our company, and it would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment of our team.
From the early days of Vistar Media, our vision was to revolutionize the out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry. With a small but ambitious team, we set out to create a platform that would empower advertisers to reach their audiences in new and innovative ways.
Over the years, we have faced numerous challenges and obstacles, but through it all, our team has remained resilient and focused on our goal. We have grown from a startup with a handful of employees to a global leader in the DOOH industry, serving thousands of clients worldwide.
As many founders and early startup employees know, the grind of the early days can be taxing and we owe endless gratitude to the first customers of our products. They challenged us to be better, they told us when it sucked, and were supportive in staying with us through it all. We wouldn’t have been able to reach where we are without those first opportunities, so for that we are grateful.
Throughout this journey, the people of Vistar Media have been our greatest asset. From our talented engineers to our passionate sales, client teams and marketing professionals to all of the functions behind the scenes that keep everything running, every member of the team has played a vital role in our success. I tend to be repetitive on this point - so much so that the team makes fun of me for it - but: our focus is people, product, revenue… in that order. With that, we win.
We have built a culture of innovation, competition, and autonomy, where every individual is valued and empowered to make a difference. This culture has fostered creativity and drive, enabling us to redefine what is possible for brands reaching consumers in the physical world.
As we embark on this new chapter with T-Mobile Advertising Solutions, I am confident that our combined strengths and resources will allow us to reach even greater heights. We have already made substantial progress together as a vendor across our DSP, SSP, device management and retail media platform, so this further integration of our businesses will only allow us to go deeper in the partnership and reset the bar for how brands reach consumers and how OOH media is utilized globally.
