Who is reviewing my application? Path

Our recruiters thoroughly and carefully review each application submitted to our site. If your experience is a match for the role, they’ll be in touch to schedule a phone interview.

What can I expect as the steps of the interview process? Path

The interview process varies role to role. However, as a first step for all positions, a Vistar Media recruiter will reach out to schedule a phone interview. After a call with a recruiter, there are two to three team interviews, and a project and/or presentation round. Your recruiter will give you an overview of what to expect for the position you’re interviewing for.

How should I prepare for my interview? Path

A little research never hurts! Our team loves when candidates know a little about what we do, and are prepared to discuss how their experience is relevant to the role they are applying for. The "Our Story" page is a great starting point.

What is the typical waiting period to receive a response after attending an interview? Path

Our team works hard to share updates and feedback with candidates within 3-5 business days after an interview. That said, there are sometimes factors that may delay a decision. Your recruiter will keep you informed every step of the way, but don’t hesitate to ask for updates!

I’m a software developer - what are the coding languages or technologies used at Vistar? Path

The main technologies we use are TypeScript, React, Python, GoLang, Java, Scala, AWS. We’re always open to leveraging new technologies that fit best with what we’re building.

I wasn’t hired for a position at this time, will I be able to reapply for other opportunities? Path

Yes! We are constantly adding folks to our team. We encourage you to keep a close eye on our careers page and apply for whichever roles pique your interest.

Can I apply for more than one position at Vistar at a time? Path

Yes, candidates are welcomed to apply for multiple positions. That said, please avoid applying multiple times for one position!

Are interviews conducted virtually? Path

It depends on the role. Rest assured, your recruiter will share all of the details and key info you’ll need well in advance of your interview, virtual or onsite.
